what if more people decide not to accept USD?
what if it happens on a larger scale?
Like a middle eastern oil exporter decides it doesnt want to be paid in dollars?
imagine what would happen to the USD...

Gold is probably the best... unless a 1 million ton solid gold meteorite hits the Earth in the next few years, it'll retain its value well...
Sh*t... I wonder how our properties in the US are holding up in value?

November 7th, 2007 07:41 PM #9it would be bad for the usd if it is not accepted as a negotiating currency. it would further lose its value. and because it is not being (kunyari) recognized as an international currency. it will be like a peso. no one wants it or needs it outside the country (philippines) and so it will depend its value in other means (like gold reserves and euro reserves (or whatever is recognized).
yata, hhehe cmiiw.
