I reecently met a Contractor who got a contract for a 2 storey house in an upscale subd here in Sta Rosa, Laguna. He got it at 20k/sqm. The design, roof material and external finishing required on houses on this subdivision can by no means be called standard. I wonder how he is going to make money from it. Also, I don't know if he was exaggerating but she told me that for this 150 sqm 2 storey house, the steel requirements alone will cost her 1.2M and that's before price increase of 30% pa daw? That's already 8k/sqm or more accurately 10.4k/sqm, 1 material pa lang?
