Yeah naman. You win some you loose some. The thing about my family is that we haven't depended on one business alone. So if ever we'd be forced to abandon a project we have other things to back us up .. then we venture into something else. We continuously look for lucrative ventures.. its a never ending endeavour.

I've been investing with same business. Until now I'm enjoying the monthly interest of my savings. In fact 2x ROI nako for almost 3 yrs lang.

Baka makilala nyo sila, magingat kayo kse magaling mag-bait baitan tong dalawang to yun pala nanakawan kayo ng di nyo namamalayan

Me and my former office-mates put up a corporation several years ago after we were retrenched. Pero, since we were doing great, may ibang pumasok offering cheaper rates. Until such time na barya-barya na lang yung binibigay sa amin, despite their promise na kami ang priority. So, naturally we approached other firms (including their main competitor, kasi wala namang exclusivity clause dun sa contract), just so we could sustain ourselves financially. Nagalit sila, they demanded we drop the competitor as client, and gave us an ultimatum. We chose na lang their competitor, kasi mas tao kausap.
In the end, the competitor struggled financially, and we had receivables from them totalling P600k. Unti-unti rin nilang binayaran (spread out over 3 years), tapos wala pang interest. Our business folded up, and the partners eventually found other employment.
It was hard, but the incident taught me a lot of bitter lessons, including swallowing your pride if you're almost bankrupt. Anyway, what doesn't kill me can only make me stronger.
