    Ninja Van PH - sucks!

nearly a month before it was delivered and it went missing, though it was a COD but still unreliable delivery due dates.

Hehe, hindi lang pala ako nakaranas ng sobrang palpak na service nila.

Till now tumatawag pa din Lazada, sabi ko kasi hindi na ako bibili sa kanila. There are other online sellers naman.

I'm very happy with Lazada. They are consistent when it comes to good customer service.

I ordered lipstick a few weeks ago and it was supposed to come with a free lipstick. I did not receive it so I left a message with the official store. I was surprised that I immediately got an email from Lazada stating that they will send me the free lipstick in a week's time. I received it earlier and I was surprised that it was a full sized lipstick that's the same cost as the one I bought! Hassle free transaction.

I think that is the edge of Lazada over other online stores. Bilis ng complaint resolution (at least in my experience)

I've ordered so many things from Lazada for the last 5 years. There have been mishaps here and there but none to great to stop me from purchasing from them. Most of the time if there are problems, they will just refund the amount to my card (I always use credit cards on all my purchases).

The only thing I do not like at the moment is their new shipping policy. Before you could purchase any amount from any store and as long as your total reaches 1k, you won't pay any shipping fees, whether the item is shipped here or overseas. Now a seller/store will charge you around 50 pesos if your purchase is below 500 pesos from their store. All overseas shipment now have their own shipping costs, regardless of amount purchased.

Last I checked, shipping fees for large heavy items have increased significantly based on their ads, unlike before where I had a mattress and a large computer chair shipped with absolutely no additional shipping charge.

BTW, if you have a citibank credit card, they have an ongoing promo:
    • Valid until August 31, 2018, valid during weekends. Valid on Lazada app only.
    • Use the promo code LOVE2CLICKQ3 (August 4-5 & 11-12’18) and LOVE2CLICK500 (August 21-22 & 28-29'18) to avail 12% off, minimum spend of P2500, max discount P500, valid for one time use only per code

I'd love to see that advertisement and what that store sells. What I shared is a sentiment of a long time customer who has enjoyed free shipping for a very long time and is now purchasing less of those items below 500 pesos because of the new shipping policy.

The new shipping fee policy was implemented on July 24 2018. It is now calculated on a store/seller level, meaning it can be free if one meets the minimum spent required by the seller. Based on experience since it was implemented, I have never encountered a seller that will deliver an item free of charge if your store purchase is less than 500 pesos. Even if you browse thru their site right now, local stores will demand a purchase of at least 500 pesos for free shipping and international purchases, will charge you shipping fees, regardless. (Taobao store requires 1000 pesos to waive the shipping fee). Additional fees if the package is above 5 kilos.

If you purchased an item recently or after July 24th with no shipping fee, it's one of 4 things - It is an anomaly. It is a system glitch. The store is unaware of the policy (highly unlikely), or you are just darn lucky.
