Pareho nga lang din po siguro if both VULs. Sa company status na lang ang pinagkaiba. ;)

I'm 25 years old, my wife is 22 and our daughter is 6 months old.. I wanna save up for our kid sana.. So instead of using a bank, I'd go with the insurance.. Sabi nya since Metrobank naman daw may ari ng AXA ok daw talaga to at low chances of them na mawala unlike other insurances.. I guess my question is, if I invest sa insurance for all three of us, me my wife and my kid so parang group or family plan.. ewan kung meron sila nun.. malaki kaya ang ROI ko? Let's say 1k for each of us per payday or per month in a 10-year plan or even a 15-year plan.. Kikita kaya kami?

note that VULs which are mostly offered by insurance companies today are invested in blue chip stocks, money market and other instruments, so if you are thinking na kikita ka immediately, nagkakamali ka.

what insurance investment does is you will earn on long term plus with the added protection of life insurance, it makes sure na may makukuha ang mga maiiwan mo in case may mangyari sa iyo.

in a 10-year plan, most probably, the total ng hinulog mo (e.g. 1k/mo * 12 months * 10), would probably be triple na after 10 years. pero, factor in mo cost ng inflation, etc.

but yes, yields are higher than what banks offer. usually around 8% PA to around 32% PA depends on your investment platform and risk tolerance.
