What about a platinum card?

just got mine 2 months ago from AMEX, 250k yata ang limit then additonal 50k or 100k yata aftr 1 year kung good credit standing daw... ang mganda maramiong benefits like VIP lounge sa airports, insurance sa mga travel i.e. delayed flights, loss baggage , they will give ytou a certain amount to buy clothes kung nawala yun baggage or na delayed etc..meron silang isang folder na binigay and andoon yun mga benefits.. so ang ginawa ko is cancelled ko na yun ibang cards ko, but I retained 1 visa and a mastercard, I now just carry 3 cards, I think it's more than enough for me....

bakit ganun ako never ko pa napawaive yung annual fee ko sa citibank silver ko? pero malakas din ako gumamit. hindi ako bumababa ng 10k per month. I tried to call their customer service to request but hindi raw pwede.

I guess since free naman for 1 year yung offer nila saakin to gold, kunin ko narin siguro then putol nalang after, thanks sa mga replies.

kasi racket ng mga credit card company yun bang if you ask for it they will deny it immediately.

what you do is TELL THEM "I am cancelling my membership at the end of this pay period (before the renewal date), then they will ask Why?, tell them I just got an offer of a waived annual fee from this and this card, more often than not (if you charge heavily and pay them off immediately), they will give you a free annual fee too.

dagdagan ko lang yung sa AMEX...bukod sa hirap kang makahanap ng gas station na tumatanggap nito (basta amex) di sila sumasali sa mga installment / 0% plans kaya straight charge lang tuloy nangyari sa pagbili ko sa BLIMS kanina

nagkaroon ng promo AMEX for their new Platinum cardholders, may option kang i wave yung first year annual fee mo or get a free Canon digicam if your purchases totalled 150k within the first 5 months...makukuha ko na free digicam soon...

dami privileges lalo na sa travel...superb customer service (ewan ko lang kung pareho sa green)...got mine last month...credit limit...sekwet

ano AMEX mo? yung AMEX ko galing Equitable, bakit hindi ko yata alam yung benefits na VIP lounge sa airports, etc? Dark green pala yung color ng card ko.

chieffy, kung member ka ng amex green($), libre na yung annual fee ng platinum(peso) habang member ka ng green. pero ok ka ha, lakas mo gumastos.

boybi, aside from sa sinabi ni shadow, pag sa Adventure Travel ka bumili ng plane ticket using your amex, upgrade sa next level yung ticket mo(i.e. buy economy ticket then upo ka dun sa next higher level although di ko pa nasubukan) gusto mo parefer, hehehehe?

Piece of advice , get the AMEX (it comes with a $1 million insurance plan for only $100 + a year )

boybi 4500 annual fee ng platinum pero tulad ng sabi ni niwde11 kapag may green ka baka pwede ka na lang makahingi ng platinum na naka waive na ang AF...

niwde11 next month ko makukuha free digicam in the form of voucher...kunin ko sa accredited aplliance centers nila...medyo heavy user nga kami kasi sayang ang reward points...charge lahat sa card ang mga gastusin tapos pay in full pagdating ng bill para walang interest...
