re:shirts and pants.. i buy sa M&S and Debenhams - only pag may discount, sometimes 70% off - and some of my shirts and jeans are over 12 yrs old and buhay pa..

I packed my own lunch.. this saves me 200 to 400 pesos everyday kung mag lunch out parati..

I only drink brewed coffee.. pero i don't buy expensive coffee sa coffee shops.. pinaka mahal na 100 pesos sa SB.. short drip in a tall cup with steam milk + 1 splenda.. pero i'm happy with mcdo / Dunkin / 7-11 / ministop brewed coffee.. yan pag sa labas lang bibili, pag hindi.. i brew my own coffee 2 x a day.. 300 pesos 1 kg whole beans lasts me 1 month.. kung 2 x a day magkakape.. that's 10 pesos per day or 5 pesos per big mug.

I gas up sa Unioil kasi less 5 pesos pag S&R member..

I only buy shoes pag discounted.. malimit nagpapabili ako sa aunt/uncle ko sa US kasi mas mura don.. same with laptops..

When buying underwear you go to SM Department Store and look into Hanes, Walker or Hanford they sell it for around Php350 to Php500 for 3pcs mix color. But in Divimall or 999 they sell it for Php100 for 3pcs and you can choose your own brand hehe

i can not imagine hanes, walker or hanford, selling them at 100 for 3.

and i am constantly reminded, that it is a fake, if i am discomforted every time i make a move.

mabuti na yung malinaw na genuine fakes ang pinag-uusapan at hindi geenuine genuine.

for me kasi,
by personal experience,
it is the name brands that offer good quality, i.e., good fit and longevity (anti-bacon garters and non-sagging support elsewhere}...
and even among name brands, "some brands wear nicer than other brands".

i am sure,
we each of us,
know when it is acceptable to compromise with a cheaper item, and when it won't do to use a cheaper item.
kanya kanyang decision lang yan.
personal choice.
