I remember this guy with an Elantra, waving as I passed by with his cellphone. It was past 6 so it was getting dark. According to him, he just stopped to inflate his tires and then his car won't start. His mistake was, the engine was off when he did it. He wanted to buy it from me. I politely declined. I just told him not to turn off his engine until he arrives home.

I've heard from someone, "Why is it that the car in front of you will always turn left whenever you're in hurry?" And so after several kilometers away, an elderly man was waving at me along SCTEX. I found out that he got a flat tire and he doesn't have tools! I helped him change his tire but since I was in hurry, I forgot to remove my polo barong.

And so after getting my hands dirty, I now always bring a pair of gloves. I have yet to decide if I should buy an apron.

actually, keeping the motor running while one goes out to inflate his tire, isn't very safe. the safer move is to shut off the engine.

in my opinion, driving a car with weak battery, is excuse-able only if one is on his way to the battery store.

Jumper cables? Choose a good 1. I've seen some that looked great but refused to work. Turned out only the insulation was thick, hiding a few strands of hair thin wires.[emoji17]

    i agree.
when i buy, sinisilip ko yung metal cable under the insulation, to see just how thick it really is.

also, a number of taxi drivers drive around with jumper cables, for a little income on the side. "jump-my-battery-for-a-fee".

    Seen this, too.[emoji4]
Prior to grabbing the power bank jumpstarter, I relied on homemade cables.

I was actually referring to a jump suit (aka jumper) since archer was talking about not getting his clothes dirty. Hahaha

But in the context of the discussion, pasok pa rin ang jumper cable to parallel start a dead battery.

Killing two birds in one stone hahaha

    hahaha!
    you got me there!

personally, gloves is fine for me. a set of nitrile gloves, and another set of fabric gloves. madali kasi mapunit yung latex or nitrile, at hindi water-protective yung fabric.
and a change of shirt or clothes, for justin. justin case.
and clean basahan and some water and alcohol, to clean up afterward.
