As much as possible, we make use of available free WiFi and send IMs instead of SMS to my siblings/cousins -- esp. pag nagbobroadcast ako ng oil price hike/rollbacks

Carinderia food at work > fastfood. For a lower price may karne at gulay ka na. Pero nothing beats baon. Kaya lang since renter ako mas tipid mag carinderia kesa mag luto ng ulam para sa isa.

Have a weekly and monthly budget and stick to it. Better yet, ditch the cards and pay in cash. If you don't have cash to pay for it, means you can't afford it (except big ticket items like cars, houses)

There are instances when it's better to use credit cards compared to cash ... as long as you have self discipline ... there are cash back credit cards that give 5% discount on groceries, 4%-5% on fuel, 3% on utility bills, 2% on dining and 1% on medicine ... Security Bank, Citibank, Standard Chartered have cash back credit cards ...

Same here. I use CCs to take advantage of freebies or discounts. It's okay to use your card as long as you can pay it in full.

You don't go fooling around and painting the town red like there's no tomorrow....

Saves you a lot of money, right?
