June 13th, 2017 11:18 PM #173Have a weekly and monthly budget and stick to it. Better yet, ditch the cards and pay in cash. If you don't have cash to pay for it, means you can't afford it (except big ticket items like cars, houses)

There are instances when it's better to use credit cards compared to cash ... as long as you have self discipline ... there are cash back credit cards that give 5% discount on groceries, 4%-5% on fuel, 3% on utility bills, 2% on dining and 1% on medicine ... Security Bank, Citibank, Standard Chartered have cash back credit cards ...
