Rental right now at least in the Bay Area is at its lowest only Php1,000/sqm. You buy a Php300K/sqm condo property and can rent for only Php35 - 40K a month for 1bedroom unit.

    2BR End Unit with Balcony
    43rd floor (Penthouse)
    71sq.m Semi furnished - sofa,
4 seater dining table and TV
    ✅ 35K monthly
    Minimum 1 year contract
    2 months deposit 1 month advance + 11 PDCs

example ng upahan 2bedroom unit ngayon bagsak presyo

yan sinasabi ko way back pa pag above 20sqm pabigat ng pabigat dues. Gaano ka tatagal mag-aabono.

you may be assuming that the owner is in dire need of money.
i know of many folks whose condo units are un-used, and they are not desperate to rent them out.

clearly, you and these condo owners are not thinking on the same floor.

    as posted before,
"buy a condo because you will use it, and not because you intend to make money renting it out."

    doc naman,

taga makati at bgc pinipilit na nga pabalikin mga telephone operator so ibig sabihin naghihikahos na gusto na nila kumita like prepandemic. But the world has change.

ewan ko doc kung ilan kilala mo gusto patalo ang unit. The majority atat na ata na mag face to face schooling.

it really depends on why one purchased the unit in the first place.
perhaps it is because the folks i mill around with are not in the condo rental business, while the folks you mill around with, are.

I assume telephone operators net 25k to 30k a month, kulang na kulang yan to rent a condo in Makati or BGC. Binalak ko yan several years ago nung nainis ako sa parking situation sa office, I looked for condos surrounding my office (less than 1 kilometer radius) and could not afford it.

    what some folks do,
is to get about four people together, and they share one condo unit among themselves, splitting the rent four ways.

cityland level condo near osmena highway. So mga apat sa isang unit. Upa each 3thou- 4thou. Parang estudyante near university belt.

Yung kachat ko na manager upa sya worth 25thou sa cityland din. Sya lang mag-isa prepandemic. Binitawan na nya ngayon. Pero nung pandemic ang deal nila she pays only the monthly dues no more rent kasi naiwan lang mga belongings nya.

Does investing on a condominium still a good idea?
