SCAM!!!
in the very first place they should be the one calling you!
they should not ask you to call them!
and others are correct, there should be no cash out mula sa 'yo!

Ang tagal ng nagbabala ng DTI re: this fake scam, but the fact na buhay pa rin yung M.O. na to, ibig sabihin, may mga nauuto pa rin.
Sometimes kasi, people can get greedy. What's 35k tax, kung 3M naman ang napanalunan ko? Scammers take advantage of man's innate greed and ignorance

it happen to us trice...
1. i was in china, got the text (roaming din), called the guy and said that i have to use the same number where they sent message. so did'nt bother to call since pangtext lang cel ko.
2. i was here, tried calling the whole day but no answer, so hinayaan ko na lang.
3. my wifey got the same message, called the guy and he wants 4 load card worth P1,000 each. sana nga pede isumbong sa NTC or DTI to. alam ko matetrace naman location niya basta gamit yung sim nya.Last edited by yuichi; September 7th, 2007 at 07:19 PM.
