I used to have an extension from my mom's ccards, but nun ginawan na nya ako ng sarili ko pinababa ko un credit limit...mahirap na hehehe....
kaya ngayon I only have 2 and 30K lng ang limit...mostly used for gas....
very handy ang ccards basta you "know" how and when to use it

I used to have 3 plus yung ext. sa Misis ko. Ngayon wala na. Pina-cancel ko lahat. Sakit sa ulo sa akin yang credit cards, pag "na-abuso".
As of now, direct debit na lang sa BPI ATM cards namin.

October 9th, 2007 10:06 AM #441 active AIG and 7 several cards.
Pasensiya na po kung OT para mabigyan lang ng babala yung mga bagong kumukuha ng credit cards.
No. 1 rule, used your credit card for convenience not for credit. Instead of bringing cash, better pay everything through your credit card, if possible. You will earn points and other freebies using your credit card.
2nd, spend only according to your means. Just ensure that you pay all your bills in full on or before your due date. Never attempt to pay the minimum amount. You will surely be charged of exorbitant penalties and interest.
3rd, don't pay for your annual fee. Request for reversal of your annual fee. More often, the credit card company will surely reverse it otherwise, request immediately for cancellation. Then this will be the time for you to use your other credit cards.
4th, convert your earned points wisely. Most of the time, they will offer cash credit. Never use your points to settle your annual fee.

I used to have 3: Citibank Mastercarr, Unionbank Visa and Metrobank M Mastercard. Ngayon isa na lang, Metrobank M. Free ang annual fee nito for life.

October 26th, 2007 05:39 PM #47I have a lot. Some of them I don't use. Nakatago lng sa cabinet.
Pag nanghingi ng Annual Fee on them, I tell them I never use it, so cancel it na lng.
Ang dami kasing tumatawag, ang daming tanong kung bakit ayaw ko ng CC nila. Fine, sabi ko, send me the card.

October 27th, 2007 09:08 AM #50Guys, In your experience.
Whats the best credit card that gives points/mileages/rewards/perks out there?
Annual dues should be waived in order to qualify as best deals.
For me, Its used to be Citibank Gold, You can get inside Northwest Airlines Worldperks Louges for free plus 1 companion regardless of what airline your taking. But now I think the partnership was expired already.
Now, I think the best out there is HSBC Mabuhay Miles VISA. Best conversion ratio for mileages.
I may be wrong, Thats why I need your inputs.
Buhay na buhay ang BGC this evening. Bukas halos lahat ng restaurants. Sabi pa nung isang cashier...
