It's a car alarm. As long as it doesn't activate while you're driving and there's no dashboard switch to activate it, they won't give a damn.

but kung nilagyan mu ng seperate switch yung siren ng car alarm mo to be a wang wang, yun ang bawal.

meron din ako yung parang siren-type na alarm. i will not remove it because i need it.

Exactly. It's as simple as that.

Has anybody here had experienced na ipatanggal ng mga enforcer ang siren ng car alarm? Feed back please.....

Theoretically speaking: What if the car alarm goes faulty and trips the siren while on the move? What then?

Actually common sense dictates that car alarm are not included in the "wang-wang" ban. Problem is we have some MMDA or other enforcers who don't have common sense. As long as they see a horn shape device, they already assume its a Wang-Wang.

I for one is against those cars with illegal Wang-Wang. But the law should be properly interpreted and implemented so that the enforcers knows for sure which is illegal and which are not.
