My cousins DIY'ed their BMW Z3 and Porsche Boxster to have a kill switch.

And they used OEM-looking switches in plain sight [thieves will most likely look for a hidden switch]

Bad idea to use a radio button as a kill switch. If he gets the radio, you won't be able to start the car unless you have it mended.

Otep is right on the money, make the switch blend into the surrounding switches. Those German cars though will poke fun at the thief as he tries to fumble for the right switch

This usually entails using one of the ready slots that initially have nothing and install a factory switch but change the function. Just don't forget to tell whoever drives the car that there's a kill switch. Otherwise baka sabihin nasiraan.

maxima ko has a kill switch for the magnetic-switch for the carb and the electronic fuel pump..location: *secret!

kaya reregundo ang makina, pero di tatakbo kasi walang fuel... one time nakalimutan ko "turn-on" ung switch, nagulat nalang ako nagpatawag ng electrician na mom ko!

buti nalang napansin ko agad...kaya nilagay ko na sa "on" yung switch.. then umandar agad...
    -----------------

So bago sumakay ng sasakyan, open muna yung fuel filler door, set the switch saka pa lang sasakay.

All our vehicles new and old have this fuel pump switch for extra safety. Pero yung 07 strada ko, di namin malagyan. We tried taking the plugged wires sa fuel pump pero nagsstart parin. medyo pinatagal ko ng konti na nakastart pero tumatakbo parin at hindi namamatay. tanong ko lang if this is normal for newer cars. kasi yung 2005 innova ng kaibigan ko meron din switch, gumagana naman.

Just make sure that the connector and the switch you use are reliable.... Else, ikaw naman ang magkakamot ng ulo....
