Salamat po and Merry Christmas..

Kung gusto mo lang ma-test kung gumagana ang backup sensor, just shift the transmission to reverse, then magpalakad ka ng tao sa likod ng kotse. The alarm should sound kung malapit o dikit na ang tao sa tapat ng sensor. Pag walang tumunog, it means your sensor is due for a replacement.

It's has more blind spots than ultrasonic sensors, it will start detecting objects at 6-8 inches compared to ultrasonic sensors which start at 2-3 feet. It will also detect horizontally only so if the object is lower or higher than the sensor strip, it will not be detected. Had mine removed after one day and replaced with regular ultrasonic sensor.
Make sure to ask for a good installer if you decide to try it. The one assigned did shoddy work with the wiring and scratched the bumper since he just placed it on top of a dirty plywood with no protection (which made useless the whole point of having a no-drilling sensor installed).
Also avoid their horns, Bosch and Hella are still better for almost the same price.

July 21st, 2014 01:22 PM #40I've installed an A-plus brand parking sensor, with LED display and audible alarms. Barely 3 years in its use, the LED display is no longer functioning, and I'm relying solely on the sensor alarms.
I'm contemplating on its replacement, what brand seems to be long-lasting? I'm likely to get a 2-eye set instead as the sensors are still OK, and they're painted to match my bumper. So I'll simply replace the LED display, and if necessary, the computer box where these are all connected to.
Anyone tried those from CDR-King?
planning to keep it for 15yrs just done 10,000 km already replaced the transfer case fluid w/...
