from my experience, changing the siren only doesnt change the sound of the alarm. medyo lumakas lang from china made alarm siren to clifford siren.
an option that you can do is to replace the old siren to a horn with a signal light relay. sound will depend on horn installed. pag nag alarm yan BEEP BEEP BEEP sound

I have that on my Pajero. It comes with 2 remotes, red and black right? Parang ibon nga! Ngayon ko lang na-realize to hahaha! Di masyadong malayo ang range nya no?
Ang dami ng nagsabi na ok nga ang Clifford, no more than 5k pesos too. Sayang nga pareho tayong may TT na .
So far it's at the top of my list now.

ung ibang model ng clifford may auto-engine start functions. paano if manual ung transmission ko? baka kasi naka-kambyo sa primera or segunda for parking security purpose, then pag-activate mo ng auto-start sa remorte, kakadyot ung car. delikado! pang-automatic transmission lang kaya un? kasi ang alam ko reverse mode lang ung may sensor switch..

Types of chirps depend on the siren installed… it so easy to replace the siren alone. I tried this when I replaced my krypton alarm (6-tone) with the sub-zero (single tone) The 6-tone trumpet continues even with the sub-zero module…. but i use the single tone, kasawa na rin ang 6-tone.
Vlad marami surplus siren sa Banawe, mura lang since ok pa module mo. Installer has many na mga pinagpalitan. Jerry of Bless Car Accessories is one. (beside Jaffas)Last edited by XTO; October 11th, 2007 at 09:57 AM.

October 13th, 2007 12:00 PM #19i forgot the brand nung alarm ko, i think it was viper.....not sure though. anyway some models of alarms have the sound embedded sa box nung alarm but some have the sound embedded sa speaker unit.
Nasira kasi yun alarm ko before, ang nangyari eh hindi na sya tumutunog, what i did was to check the speaker (siren) connect mo lang yun wires nito to the battery, kung di tumunog palitan mo na lang. kapag tumunog, palit ka na ng buong alarm system. By the way yun speaker (siren) costs around 200 pesos sa electronic shops.
