February 13th, 2010 12:09 PM #12one of the first production cars that came in with HID eqpt is BMW. Hid bulbs generate 3x more light than its halogen counterpart so hid bulbs were designed for hid housing or many nowadays, for HID projectors. It was never designed for halogen reflector housing. You can tsee ons of glare when you mount hid bulbs or those plug and play china kits sa stock halogen housing. Meron parin naman naka hid ngayan na stock like the Civic FD 2.0 and the Forester which are non projector hls but you can see walang glare above the cutoff. HID is a good advancement in technology but unfortunately many dont use it properly. I dont it will banned as some cars come in with stock HID eqpt pero dapat hulihim yung mga naka hid na nakalagay lang sa reflector housing coz grabe talaga glare. Lalo na motorsiklo. Peace

well hmmmmmm let's see nalang.
let's be considerate
yung hi ace namin nakayuko na ang headlight kasi nga i know nakakasilaw.

February 19th, 2010 10:08 AM #19Oo nga naman lets be considerate to our fellow motorists and chikoteers. If the given situation is not there, dapat naka-dip lang yung focus para di tayo nagiging offensive sa driver which is straddling in the opposite lane.

So... they can't enforce a logical HID law, so they're going to ban them outright?
Oh, good. I hope the government can tell me how to replace the stock HIDs in my stock HID projector housings with halogens... idiots.
