sterling??? first time I heard about this brand. Meron mga times mali and filament position sa bulb so yung focal position sa HL mali din causing discrepancies sa output. HB3 and HB4 lang ang totoong HIR bulbs. All the others are copies and you can get bulb qualities na ganyan. If you really want HIR bulbs then get Philips kaya lang walang H7 sila, HB3 and HB4 lang.

chik: baka naman lumang bulb yung comparison. Kung luma na talaga yung bulb and kabitan mo ng XV, meron ngang difference. Yung pic posted is a nice stock Philips bulbs na standard quality vs. XV.

thanks for the good info. Well, parang I noticed nga naparang hindi nakasentro or perpendicular yung bulb itself sa base by a certain degrees. Not sure if ganun na from factory or baka dahil sa shipping and handling. Nakabalot lang ng circular styrofoam yung bulb sa loob ng box eh. Not much protection sa wiggle. My eyes could be deceiving me though.

I am waiting for the seller's input on this as well.

May possibility kaya na na damage ko yung bulbs during the installation? First time ko kasi mag-install. Lalo wala makita pag gabi.

For the HIR bulb (halogen infrared reflecting), for your Elantra, anong type kinabit mo, meaning HB4 ba yan? Anong brand yung binili mo? Philips na lang mfg nyan ngayon if I am not mistaken. Yung GE na reference mo with the 75% increase (design parameter yun) hindi na available yun. Let us know anong details nung kinabit mo para we can comment.

I'm using PXV as well. Hindi nga 75% ang improvement but meron talaga (at least 25%) and best of all, stock setup siya and plug and play. Sulit siya when using high beam niya and hiway driving ka. Malayo dun ang stock (40-50% at least IMHO)

Yes meron naman improvement. As mentioned, if you compare it to a new Philips or Osram bulb na standard quality, I would say mga 10-20% based on actual output and measurements on my light meter. It's a good first step if you want to improve lighting and I have these bulbs in stock with installation and alignment. Yes plug and play yan but you need to check your alignment. In terms of load sa circuit ng oto, same 55w.
