February 19th, 2017 11:50 AM #2361So my 2011 ASX factory HID are still good. No color shift yet. But I want more distance and light so thinking of getting Osram Night Breaker Unlimited Xenarc D2S.

February 19th, 2017 11:51 AM #2362According to the spec of Osram NBU Xenarc has same lifespan as standard HID.
- 2000 hour lifespan lasts 6-10 years under average daily use
So they computed average daily use as:
10 years: 2000 / 10 years / 365 days = 0.547 hour = 32 minutes daily
6 years: 2000 / 6 years / 365 days = 0.913 hour = 54 minutes daily

March 17th, 2017 12:10 AM #2365Sir Gary need your advise wala pa kasi kami experience sa HL retrofit. Just bought the New Sta fe and we did not know na mahina pala ang HL nito. What can you suggest.

June 30th, 2017 05:13 AM #2366The average lifespan of HID bulbs fluctuates between 2-3 years, so it depends. Ususally it is worth replacing them when they lose 50% of their capacity or "get half dimmer" as you put it. Also they can change their primary color, so whenever you notice any of those alterations, you can replace your HIDs if you intent to keep your car attended.
On Kensun not only can you buy good bulbs but also choose ones that fit specially your car make and model: KENSUN Inc
