lately, I notice more Rides (w/o Projector) with HID. but their HID is not so bright. combined with a sabog throw (buti nalang lesser glare na). the throw is even worst than a stock halogen.

dahil po ba ito sa murang HID's? or just a brand in particular?

baka mga naka white bulbs lang yung or something.

may mga nakita din akong ganyan... to compensate for the sabog throw, the drivers are using their high beams.

The reduced glare is caused by lower wattage.

I have 35W in my Vios and my friend has 55W in his.

Mine doesnt have the glare we typically see but his 55W HIDs does..

Ummm... almost all retrofit HIDs are using 35W (that's actually one of their main *selling* points, lower power consumption & lower temperature).

    That figures. thanks

that means, 35W 8000k then will be worst than a halogen.
