The halogen hue is suited for long distance vision, the more yellow the bulb becomes the shorter the light can go... Yellow bulbs are only better up to a certain distance, usually not far.. The halogen bulbs with the stock color like osama, narva, Philips provides the best compromise in light throw and light perception by the human eye... Very straining as mata nag yellow ...

I seldom use the foglights. Not much help in visibility, IMO.

I like yellow for contrast and depth. Used to drive with it as main beam, but eventually changed it.

3000K 35W HID on my fogs. Stock bulb on my low beam and 4300K 35W HID on my high beam. Planning to change my stock low beam to Osram NB unlimited. Available na ba sa Pinas? Where to get them?

Nag osram nb+ ako sa headlight (medyo white) and solarzen pure yellow sa fog. Ganda tignan ng white + yellow combo. Ang linaw pa sa unlit road.

Parang mas maliwanag pa ung osram nb+ and fogs and HL or stock fogs bulbs kesa nung nag palit ako sa euroline yellow fogs and osram nb+ HL.

ok lang ang yellow bulbs sa foglight kasi ang reach ng foglight eh less than 10 meters,, good for slow speeds and noticing where the road paint and road lines are...

but for visual acuity and clarity of far and distanced objects, anything below 4300kelvin and anything above 5000kelvin will be detrimental...
kaya most performance halogen from reputable bulb makers never goes out of the 4300k range...

mas important ang "maliwanag sa paningin mo, kaysa maliwanag sa paningin ng kasalubong"...
