You can use any toothpaste, a mid range brand is probably better because it's designed to polish your tooth's enamel. Crest, Colgate also should work just fine. Make sure it's paste and not the gel stuff.
I just washed off the lens let it dry a bit and put 3 lines of paste on there and went to town on the lenses with firm pressure in a circular motion. Then rinsed it off and did it all over again wetting the cloth and adding more toothpaste.
It's actually very easy. On base they charge 40usd to do this lol.Last edited by dvldoc; June 5th, 2011 at 01:30 AM.

this is possible because toothpaste can cause abrasion on our teeth, which will also abrase the plastic lens.
frequent abrasion sa lens may not be good.
but it works.

Makes sense, naninilaw na ngipin nalilinis ng toothpaste, pati rin naninilaw na HL. I wonder kung mas malinis pag whitening toothpadte?

A sealant is required after polishing to prevent yellowing in a matter of days. Use a clear coat or a spray on sealant like Bluemagic ( it last for 4 weeks before reapplying ).

easiest yung pag sand ng headlight pero before you do that. make sure may buffing machine kayo. i have lots of customers they sand down their headlights on their own and use rubbing compunds pero di nila mabalik ang kintab sa dati thats because iba ang friction ng buffing pad kesa sa hand buff. an sometimes yung parang protective coat ng headlight nababakbak ewan ko lang kung napansin niyo pag sobrang exposure sa araw mag mamapa headlights niyo. pag ganun na its better to use sand paper 1500 or 2000 then buff with compund. although siyempre after a few kung bibilad niyo uli sa araw maninilaw uli.
