yugn G3 ba sir D2H bulb din ata yan if im not mistaken... D2H bulb is available locally sir... the bulbs could be 35 watts, tapos gamitin mo na lang is ballast na 55watts...

kaya naman sir ng G5,"for a while"... long term i do not see na kakayanin nya...
the best talaga would be to go retrofit, or bolt on Q5 or morimoto projectors...
nasubukan ko na kasi dati yung G5 and then later on the bolt on Q5 projectors...

I agree. Started with the gen5 for a year until the Morimotos came in locally. Much better lighting. Ipon na lang sulit naman eh.

Ok po ba talaga yung feebacks when using 55w ballast with 35 watt bulb?

ok naman yan sir iikli lang naman life ng bulbs..... pero in my exp lagpas 2 years din yung D2H kahit na 55 watts pa yung ballast..

installed bolt-on projectors with additional shrouds on my friends ride. they bought their own projectors.

Interested din kc ako sa HID sa headlights that's why i ordered H11 Morimoto Elite HID kit 35w 5000k from TRS
Ayun muna kc wala akong time mag full-blown retrofit. Maybe during summer na lang.

Ang napansin ko lang dito sa thread nato, halos lahat eager mag 55w pero 4300k bulbs?? Hindi nyo ba napapansin na kapag tinaasan nyo ang wattage ng ballast eh dumidilaw yung ilaw? Say a 35w 4300k has the same color output as a 55w 5000K. Sige try nyo!

So kung mag 4300k ka na bulb tapos 55w eh di ang labas nun madilaw? Hmmm, di ko trip un. Maybe get a 5000k bulb to get a 4300k color if using a 55w ballast.

Sir Ginnova, paano mo dinikit yung shroud sa G5? Di kasi alam nung installer ko... Thanks.

I use high temp RTV silicon gasket to attach the shroud. make sure na matuyo mabuti before sealing the headlight para hindi mag fume-out.

ako i attached the shroud using mighty bond (yung color blue/ MIGHTY bond extreme) hangang ngayon ok naman..

ako galing na ako sa 55w bulb with 55w ballast at 5000k/ 35w bulb with 55w 5000k & 4300k... lahat nasubuk ko na...

sa simula lang maporma yung pure white... pag normal city driving at pag bad weather, panget ang 5000k... i won't advise it... pinaka ok pa rin ang combo ng Philips 85122+/ osram SVS at 55 watt na ballast...

it will become more yellowish dahils a 55watt ballast, pero thats OEM... pinaka the best kasi sa eyes ng tao yung kelvin na yun.....
2 years na ako almost sa 85122 and contented ako sa output niya... kahit anung weather at kahit anung lakas pa street lamps yellow mas kita mo pa rin light mo... thats base on experience and science,,, hahaha
