Konti lang difference ng FXR sa Q5.
RX350 na ang best bixenon na kakasya sa HL housing ng AE111.
Di kasya TL and both are claimed to be the best depende sa user preference.
Gusto ko din magtry ng Hella Gen8 or Gen6 Intemo using a different housing in the future. Tabas din kasi tong mga ito e.

yung Q5 ko mag three years na ata... no problems whatsoever. using Philips 85122+ d2s, no problems din. using morimoto ballast, no problems pa din after three years..

iba talaga pag quality ang materials and components, although meh kaakibat na dagdag gastos.

in the long run what you are paying for will be decreased labor cost due to back job, less worries that lighting system will fail lalo na on long drives, less stress sa owner hehe, and less time spend on repairs.

In fairness to colt, he was comparing Pao's Q5 Vs Q5 from another shop.

However, I agree with both garyq and miko101130 that cheapest isn't necessarily the better choice.

Quality of workmanship in installation has a lot of value too. Hindi pwedeng para paraan lang para maikabit ang projector specially kung masikip ang headlight.

Madaming adjustments at trimmings din ang kailangan para maialign ng tama ang projector at magkaroon ng enough adjustability for proper aiming. Malinis din dapat ang cutting ng shroud before proper sealing.

All projectors, mapa aftermarket or OEM also needs some tuning before installation to maximize output. It is not just limited on rotation and correct hotspot placement that you can actually tweak a little post HL sealing sa Q5 bolt on. But more so on smooth even cutoff, maximizing of color band, etc that you can't adjust anymore kung sealed na ang HL unless pabuksan mo ulit.

* shok, yes sir.Im just comparing the price of Q5 from different sellers. Workmanship is another question. That's why I'm doing a lot of backread on this thread to see who's the best retrofitter out there shempre with consideration pa rin sa budget.

Mas mahalaga na maikabit muna nang maayos. 2nd nalang yung gumamit ng magandang ballast at bulb. at least yun e mapagiipunan ko.

yes sir. I agree that cheaper is not always better. kaya hingi po sana ako feedback sa ibang mga naging customers ni pao dito sa thread.

BTW, when you said that iba ang output at long term reliability ng Q5 ni pao, does it mean iba ang Q5 niya sa iba? or dahil sa pang install kaya nag iba?

ang Q5 meron copy, copy of copies and copy of copy of copies, so on... get what I mean? having the right parts is 50% of a successful retrofit, yung another 50% is the know-how and technique nung retrofitter. THis applies to all retrofitter and not just pao.

yung isang headlight ng uncle ko keh pao ko pinagawa 3 years n din ata... hindi pa nga ata Q5 yun.. mukang ok pa naman up to now yung projectors... yung bulb napalitan na,

ok naman for me yung gawa ni pao in all honesty... pero im more satisfied kung sarili kong diskarte.
so ayun, ako nag source out nang parts and did the headlight myself...

ang mahirap eh ang full retro... walang balikan na kasi kaya 100% dapat na perfect.

pero keh sir gary pa din vote ko, hehe... sa dami na na retrofit ni sir gary eh.. hahaha... he knows his stuff very well..
