HIDs are not the solution to not being able to see during rains or very dark nights. Your old school sentra does not need the HID (including its accompanying ballasts and wiring). You will only incur unnecessary expenses, coz di naman projector ang headlight assembly mo. Sabog ang lalabas na ilaw. Might I suggest an allweather 100w/90w bulb - narva or hella has these (and they cost only P300 to P500 petot per bulb lang).

another thing dami nag rereklamo mahina ang 35w 8000k hid sa ulan. sagutin ko lang base on my 3 yrs. experience in selling hid's.
by the way yung color ng hid depende sa brand not all 8000k is bluish white and 10000k is purple.

I assume you have the 2.0S Civic. Well the reflectors of that car is designed specifically for HID.
Don't worry that doesn't glare anyone on the road. And no, the smoked lamps don't change the glare factor. It's really the design of the reflector that's suited to your HID.

Agree with jut.
A relative of mine in Canada had his Scion FR-S PPF'd and then had it ceramic coated. He says it's...
