yes sir, mas maganda ang performance ng hid sa projector headlamps. mas maganda ang buga at hindi ka pa makakabulag ng tao kasi parang spotlight ang labas niya. pag kasi sa reflector, scattered ang light kahit na babaan ang aiming niya. unlike sa projector na controlled ang light scattering. as for single beam o hindi, the REAL hid are d2s lamps which is only a single beam. nagkakaroon lang ng high beam yun kung nakalagay siya sa bi-xenon type of projector. some good examples of bi-xenons are nissan murano, infinity fx-35 and 45, or those na nakikita mo na projector lang ang headlamp assembly niya at walang hi-beam na nakasupport.

1 more question, ang HID na below 3500k is yellow dba? ilang kelvin kya yung super yellow halos amber na ang color? and maliwanag pa ba yun di ba kinakain ng spalto or ng ulan? kc balita ko 8k above wla na daw kwenta for porma lang daw tlga.

sir, i doubt po kung meron projector housing for f150. the only way po is to have it retrofitted.

below 3500k color temperature is yellow na. wag naman ang super yellow or close to amber kasi masakit din sa mata yun. the ideal is 4300k na color for hid.

HID conversion kits where you replace the halogen bulb with a HID unit is a sure way of asking for trouble (plus the fact na moron ang dating mo sa nasilawan na ibang driver). The headlamp unit was not designed for a HID lamp so light is scattered all over the place. If the HID were installed on fogs, then the fog lamps should be pointed downwards at the very least.

HID with projectors and preferably modified head lamps (clear na wala na yung pampagulo na lines para sa halogen lamps) are the way to go.

BTW if your vehicle has halogen bulbs and the incoming car has glaring HID installed, well flash siya repeatedly. Wala siya magagawa (and if he responds by flashing......poof!)

just be responsible specially when adjusting the aim. not too high and not too low. just enough that you could properly see the road and give consideration to the oncoming vehicle.

we installed hid on this car but nobody flashes because after installing we went for a spin.





installed 3 sets of xenon optics hid on a week old car
35w hid 6000k for the fogs and the high beam
50w hid 6000k for the low beam



of course the purpose of high beam is when you drive on highways or one way streets. pag may kasalubong kahit naman hini ka naka hid nakakasilaw talaga.

^in my case naka oldschool ako na kotse at naka HID nung una nakakasilaw nga siya pero inadjust ko pababa tapos ayun wala naman nagflaflash sa akin or nasisilaw na tao. ang ginawa ko sa tunay na adjustment eh ibababa ko pa (yung me x spot eh bababaan ko pa) enough lang para hindi makasilaw at enough na para naman hindi sahig lang naiilawan:D

tapos ang final na ginawa ko eh ipinarada ko yung kotse na nakailaw tapos naglakad ako sa malayo para malaman ko kung nakakasilaw pa siya.

yung iba naman nilihis nila ang ilaw nila palayo sa kasalubong (nakatutok sa right in our case) para hindi nakalyo talaga sa kasalubong.

so far yung config ko okei wala naman nagbribright at hindi rin naman madilim na dahil nakayuko

looks bad on my camera pero sa totoong itsura niya mas maliwanag yung ilaw hindi yung tulad dito na madilim hehe kahit anung edit hindi ko makuha anyway mapupuna na nakagilid yung sa left headlight ko papuntang right ginawa ko ganyan kasi para sure na hindi makasilaw pero at the same time nakikita ko parin kabila in case me biglang tumawid

and im confident na hindi siya nakakasilaw kasi galit rin ako sa HID na nakakasilaw hehe kaya talagang ginawa ko lahat para hindi makasilaw. pati kinuha ko rin mga opinyon ng mga tao kung nakakasilaw ba o hindi

Bakit ang blue ? Ano sir color temp niyan, 8000k ?

renzo: meron talaga blue na color sa HID. mas blue pa sa 8000K.

Maybe 25000K or 30000K yan.
