April 26th, 2011 10:20 PM #11your tucson premium is just about standard. however, your civic premium is suspiciously low. try double checking it. maybe its not one year policy? If it is correct, then you got yourself a really low premium. You can check it in other threads. No one would come even close to what youre paying for the civic. Mind telling us the insurance company?
Of course, premium is still based on the amount of the car. They just have their own set of rates, which i pointed out in my earlier post. Ok ill give you another example:
If each of the unit under each category is worth 1m:
1m SUV: 1m x 1.3%
1m car/sedan: 1m x 1.9%
1m pick up: 1m x 2.5%
1m 6 wheeler: 1m x 3.5%
Rates shown are just example. But they are graduated in such a way for each category of vehicles.

Hi Sir,
You underwent in house financing that's why your insurance is high. Yes, you can get a lower compre insurance from other insurance companies such as Federal Phoenix, Philippine Charter, Standard Insurance, Mapfre, etc.
Some of them are offering insurance on an installment basis. For you to know its cost, you have to have it appraised by the insurance company. Inquire ka lang over the phone pwede na yun. Compre insurance is usually good for one year that's why you need to renew it annually.
If you have other questions, send me your question with your email address. I don't have internet connection in the office that's why I cannot reply to your queries via PM too. I can give you a contact person then you can just inquire with them directly.
Thank you. I hope I was able to help.
