    DEED OF RELEASE AND QUIT CLAIM in case nag bigay kayo sa other party, para hindi na maghabol pa ng extra claim.

    [QUOTE=robsem;2213980]UPDATES:

    ilang beses ko kinontact thru text yung nakabangga sa kotse namin. ayaw ibigay yung insurer nila. sabi antayin ko nalang daw yung letter nila.

    we expected na sila magpapaayos ng sasakyan namin. then nung hindi dumating yung letter, we decided na wag na ipursue and just let karma do it thing.

    hindi ko na din naasikaso dahil na assign ako offshore. hindi na ako nakapag file ng case dahil madalian yung alis ko.

    now, after few months, i got a letter from their insurer to pay them 9k+.

    kami pa ang magbabayad na binangga nila?! kapal din ng mukha ng mga ito.

    ano ba dapat gawin?

    Thanks

    any updates sir robsem....

    Now you know the details of their policy.

    File your third party claim on their policy.

    just an update...

    after receiving the letter from the insurance company, our atty drafted a letter stating na since hindi na macontact yung other party we assumed na kanya kanya na ang pagayos sa damages and should they pursue the case, sa korte nalang magkita. And specifically stated na hindi nakalagay sa police report na kami ang at fault. So wala sila habol. At dapat kami pa dapat ang bayaran nila. Pero ayaw na din kasi ni wifey na habulin pa yung insurance company dahil stressed na sya. Then dropped the letter in their office.

    after few weeks, got a call from the previous owner of the mazda informing us na sila naman daw pinadalhan ng letter ng insurance company. 2nd owner kami at hind pa natransfer yung car sa name ko. Sabi ibigay lang yung deed of sale para hindi na sila kulitin ng insurance.

    so far, wala na reply from the insurance company.

    update ko ulit ito pag nagpadala ulit sila ng letter. hehe

    You do not just drop a letter, you should make sure you have a receiving copy as proof that your letter has been received.

    And file your claim on their policy, that is the right direction.
