Help claiming own damage insurance

Guys, i just got my 2008 altis a month ago and last week ko lang nakuha ang policy for its comprehensuve insurance.

Im travelling 80kph sa edsa buendia southbound and napasama yung bagsak ko sa manhole. After nun nagkaron na ng rattle and bumigat yung kabig sa kaliwa tsaka nagkaron squeezing sound while parking. So i decided to have it checked sa toyota and replace rack and pinion ang recommendation nila...

Puwede ko ba iclaim sa insurance ito thru own damage? Ano po ang cheapest way kasi ive read the policy na may share na 35% sa parts... Tama po ba? The assembly costs 22k plus 4k labor sa casa.
Should i tell the adjuster na pinacheck ko sa casa and show him the receipt? Or, ipapacheck pa din nila ito ulit?

Help po kasi first time ko magka compre insurance...

Yup it is covered since the proximate cause of the damage is an accident. Just submit the following documents to your insurance company: CR/OR of your vehicle, drivers license/OR, notarized affidavit, pictures of the damages, estimate and wait for their approval. Good luck!

Hi guys papano ko po issend yung picture ng damaged part eh yung rack and pinion is nasa loob ng engine compartment yun...

Also is it ok kung late nako magclaim? Kasi medyo mahal yung part na papalitan and wala pako budget for the 35% share in depreciation...

Sir ipa inspect nyo po muna. Bibigyan naman po kayo ng estimate na babayaran ng insurance company, atleast aware po kayo sa dapat ninyong bayaran. And once na-release po yun LOA ninyo, may 30 days pa naman po kayo to decide kung iclaim nyo or hindi. And Sir, sa casa lang po may depreciation fee, sa mga repair shop po wala.

Pa check mo sa adjuster ng insurer mo bro, alam ko standard na non-casa clause sa >5 years old vehicles, so useless ang casa estimate.
