Anybody who can help me? We ordered a Hilux 4x2 G AT last December then nag downpayment kami ng 50,000 sa isang dealership as it will come from another province. Up until now, January 11, wala pa rin ung unit, SA says it's on-transit and sent the shipment details. Are we entitled to the 2018 SRP? 1.240m instead of 1.335?

Si dealer lang ata makakasagot nyan pards. If 1.335 pa rin, hold mo nalang muna purchase mo, sayang din 95K.

Nung nag-inquire ako ng hilux before, they said that kung magkano yung price nung dumating yung unit will be the selling price.

Kaya swerte if in transit from thailand pa yung unit as you will be entitled sa "discount"

RA 10963 Section 149:
... that purely electric vehicles and pick-ups shall be exempt from excise tax on automobiles

... truck/cargo van shall mean a motor vehicle of any configuration that is exclusively designed for the carriage of goods and with any number of wheels and axles: Provided, That pick-ups shall be considered as trucks.

Mukhang tax exempt lahat ng pick-ups, walang mention regarding dual cab or single cab. Ilang araw nalang ilalabas na IRR, sana nga ganun ang final. Even si Toyota and their attorneys eto ang inassume sa nilabas nilang pricelist. Medyo may maliit lang na tsansa na yung translation ng gagawa ng IRR sa "exclusively designed for the carriage of goods" means applicable to single cab only.

Lam nyo naman ang implementation sa Pilipinas, baluktot minsan. Case Point : tanda nyo yung laglag bala incident a few years ago, kahit 1 bala lang makuha sa iyo, kakasuhan ka na agad nila.

I am assuming that the new excise tax rates should have no effect on them since excise taxes should have already been paid in 2017, given that vehicles with Euro 2 engine can be sold in 2018 if clearance by DENR/Customs by was already secured in 201 (including excise tax).

Now, kung Isuzu wants to increase its SRP to increase profits, ibang usapan na yun. Dahil nga ba endengared species na?
