Kung lumalaban ang pasyente mo hinde mo naman pwede patayin.

And the price per day sa ICU is staggering.

I wonder how the ROHQ companies will try to retain their employees now that the preferential tax rate is going away.

They used to have a big advantage in enticing and retaining employees since they can offer a much higher net income than competitors.

sickness is caused first by idleness then immobility then depression then weakening of immune system then disease. I know this for a fact so keep yourself busy at all times. if you're a couch potato, kahit anong healthy eater mo, tatamaan ka pa din ng sakit . kasi kelangan ng stress to let out the cortisol to cure the body.

case in point, bakit pag nasa malamig na lugar ka like for example Dec sa HK or Korea or Japan, hindi ka sinisipon or inuubo? coz yun excitement mo being in a new place kills the cold viruses, and your well-being is up, therefore immune system is strong.

so for those whose older parents are always at home coz retired na, yan ang mahirap talaga eh kaya lang mga anak minsan makasarile sila lang nag-travel, nag-enjoy sa BGC or mayrun na din sila baby. you have to put yourself in their shoes too, you need to stimulate them or else it will be costly for you in the long run whether in time or finances pag sunod-sunod na ospital.

allot a budget for your parents, parati naman may shows sila Engelbert Humperdick, Air Supply, and others oldies dito, make it a point na bilhan nyo sila ng ticket kahit once a month, kung walang concert, bring them to Manila Ocean Park or other shows, find a ballroom dancing schedule employ a DI. or if not buy them a lot, tapos mag-aral ka ng bed farming, tapos sila pa-continue mo.

this is better imho, than spending like 1M to 2M sa Hospital, spread that 1M now, umutang ka na. para tumaas ang credit rating ng Pilipinas. dont always think about yourself

ROHQs pay more in terms of fringe benefits tax. So if the pref tax rate is taken away, they will save on FBT and can convert that savings into additional perks to those who enjoy the privilege. Note that not all in an ROHQ company can avail of the 15% tax rate. Mostly managers and qualified skills only.

I am not sure it works that way as the veto is on the provision allowing a status quo on those currently enjoying ROHQ status. I think it would mean that the 15% rate will be abolished and the new tax table applies to everybody, regardless of company registration. I am not a lawyer though.
