i define middle class as those who own a car or 2, renting an apartment or naghuhulugan ng condo or bahay
biggest monthly expenses go to paying car and home loans
jack up mo presyo ng fuel and some grocery items lalaki ang credit card debt nila
the struggle is real

Gauge for pretenders, yun biglang meron magkasakit sa pamilya tapos malaki bayaran sa hospital. Lahat ng signature bags, watches Pati kotse mabebenta, dahil wala pa lang laman bang Account.
Natatakot ako sa mga millennials, they're just starting their lives, utang kotse, condo, daming gadgets 0% from CC pag biglang meron emergency, ewan ko ano mangyayari.
And relatively malaki nga sweldo pero i think mas malaki pa rin gastos nila. Paycheck to paycheck pa rin.

a serious illness can send many people/families to the poorhouse
specially those whose primary source of income is a jobLast edited by uls; December 22nd, 2017 at 03:12 PM.

Shadow, kasama ka pa sa millennial bracket. Born 80s ang start
Mahirap naman talaga magkasakit sa Pilipinas, kahit yung may kaya naman or laman yung bank account nad drain. Nung nagkasakit Dad ng college ex ko, alam ko it made a large dent in their finances also. And I consider their family well off (value pa lang ng bahay nila ang laki na)

sabi nga ni shadow
things are not a gauge for financially stability
in good times everyone can display nice things
the true gauge is when accidents happen, or serious illness
it's the capacity to absorb a large financial impact that really tests one's financial stabilityLast edited by uls; December 22nd, 2017 at 03:36 PM.

December 22nd, 2017 03:46 PM #480i have friends and acquaintance na ganyan. kaka simula palang ng work at starting to stabilize palang mag car loan na, and take note bnew kinukuha na smart car. tapos mga cellphone laging latest then post agad sa fb para madami mag like.
karamihan naman habang lumalaki sweldo lumalaki din expense (luho). kaya ayun kahit malaki na sweldo umuutang pa din sa friends.
