money which comes from the taxpaying middle class

the middle class takes the hit

the middle class doesn't get any govt subsidy

the poorest do, the wealthiest get govt protection via connections

the middle class is always the milking cow
The details of such subsidies have not been allocated on the over ₱3-Trillion (yes, Trillion) budget of the government.

Another thing to note was that the 2018 budget was approved way before TRAIN.

Why not they just get SMC and MVP build all the infra and have a PPP ventures nalang. instead of milking the people of higher tax to build flyovers and expressways and mrt na palpak naman simula palang ng design dahil puro kickback and kurakot na ang inaatupag. sa una lang naman yan government owned tapos after a few years bebenta na sa private corporation then this private corporation will increase the fares and toll fees. so parang ginisa lang tayo sa sariling mantika....again and again.

instead of rising the tax they should plug the holes sa government mga corruptions sa BOC and BIR. kasi instead of patching the hole of a tank they are just making the tank bigger para mas marami malagay na tubig at hinde maubos ang tubig because of the holes.

kaya mga pilipino kina career ang pagiging politiko. dahil andun talaga ang pera. laway lang puhunan at pr stunts.

Medyo long read pero malaman yung article : https://www.autoindustriya.com/insid...-on-track.html

Eto yung tungkol sa opinion regarding preference to GA vs PPP

    PPP, the silver bullet

If PRRD ditches this preference for GA, and returns to PPP, the Private sector will now absorb financing the bulk of the 8.4 Trillion Pesos. Which means a great reduction in planned borrowings and forecast interest payments, the latter usually the bane of ODA [Official Development Assistance] funding as there is no forward cover [insurance against currency exchange rate surges]. This is what Investment Banker Francis Yuseco has always riled at – ODA's absent forward cover result in our paying exorbitant interest rates for the life of the infra loan, sometimes up to 300% effective rate. You won't have this problem with PPP as the finance risk is borne by the private proponent. True, there will be some overheating of the economy, but this is small beer considering Banking system resources of 14.7 Trillion today alone. Finally, with a lot less debt to to finance the 8.4 trillion, DoF can now proceed with the other CTRP's 2 to 6 and now deal with financing the welfare state freebies of PRRD; doubled salaries for military/police personnel, fully funded retirement funds, free irrigation, free College tuition, fully funded CCT, free medicine, free housing, free Jeepneys, etc. etc.

    PPP Hybrid, the mystery

It is quite a simple solution that we have been championing as early as 3rd quarter of last year. Why if falls on deaf ears remains a mystery. Are we so stubbornly bound to the order that PPP be relegated to being just a hybrid now? That to us is the root of the problem why TRAIN cannot create the foundation for further CTRPs without taxing us to high heavens. Pushing the burden of building and financing to the Private Sector via PPP will relieve government to fund its social and missionary non-profit programs. Time to change TRAINS?

alam niyo mga bro... for me lang ah. it is fine lang sana na taasan yun tax kung at isang malaking KUNG... makikita naman naten ang pag babago at pag asenso nang lahat.

kung mapapalitan ba nila ang naia nang bagong terminal, magkaron ng national broadband from luzon to mindanao, ayusin infrastructure all over Philippines especially MRT and traffic.

i just dont get it why this government is making all its best to destroy what Pnoy had done to our country. let us admit may sablay din un previous admin pero sana yun mga nagawang ok ipag patuloy nalang, kaso they are so busy throwing stones to previous admin. tapos ano gusto nila palabasin, sila bida ngayon. lol

by the way, Sandigan Bayan becomes Divisoria. may lahing Intsik nga si Napoles. galing makipag tawaran.

Para sakin anything that will contribute to lessen the movement of the middle class dun ako, dun na lang kayo mag mall sa malapit sa into mall wag na sa BGC or Ortigas sikip eh, bawasan nyo na din soft drinks kasi the middle class has the most obese people as well as the most opinionated kasi puro sugar NASA Utak lagi isip ng isip parang NASA taas overanalyzing na nabanggit na SMC, saka may tycoons, at saka tigilan na pag papa cute sa facebook, kaya kayo magastos sa pampaganda at pabango kasi matataba kayo, mag exercise kayo di nyo na kelangan yan . The fittest people are the poor and the rich. Kasi the poor Banat but o, the rich eats healthy food. The middle class puro cake, soft drinks, ice cream, ramen, lahat yan pampataba, pa-English English pa sa mall pero sa SNR lang kumakain kasi sulit ang pizza malaki
