Sir may suggestion po ako when selling your car. Best po is when kukunin na yun kotse nyo nang buyer make a receiving copy for the buyer to sign indicating the day and most importantly the actual time you turned over your car to him. It is for your protection po yun in case the buyer might get involved in an accident or use your car in a criminal way. If anytime authorities come knocking on your door you can prove that you are not involve.

After almost 7 months, I finally got my car back. However, most of the delay was with the Toyota Service Center. It took them 4.5 months to repair the car. The insurer took about 2.5 months to approve.
The first month with BPIMS was also going nowhere. Fortunately, I am a preferred client, so I ask the client relationship manager if he could offer assistance. It worked, the insurance claim consultant was now responsive and processing took a little bit faster. In fact during payment, there were 2 of us paid and the other dude filed his request for payment for a month while mine was released in less than 2 weeks.
Off topic, the Toyota body repair was fair but the paint job was probably done by their newest employee. It is badly cleaned, you can still see remains of the body filler dusts on hard to reach corners and they've already put some top coat on it so you can't wash it away. Also, they probably selectively buffed because some portions are still rough. I plan to return it, if they wont attend to it, I might just hire an outside cleaner.

Wala kwenta BPI MS!!!!
Immediately the following day nadala sa Commonwealth Chevy ang TB LTZ namin at complete with all our papers at tinawagan agad ng Chevy ang BPI MS. Believing in good faith na maaksiyunan agad ang repair (around 350k estimate ng Chevy) binayaan na lang muna namin sa casa yung sasakyan. 3 weeks passed and we aked Chevy kung ano status. Lo and behold wala pa daw pinapunta na adjuster/assessor ang BPI MS kahit almost every other day sila tumatawag.

April 18th, 2016 10:10 PM #58My total loss claims with BPIMS lasted for 2 mos. i think it's the norm on such claims. Though it took to long and constant persistent follow up, but atleast I've got what i've paid for.

April 25th, 2016 01:09 PM #59Sir, what happened sa total loss claim nyo? I'm currently in this situation, just got an email from insurance that it's better to declare as total loss. Car is 27 months old, the repair estimate is around 477K. Same po tayo BPIMS Insurance.
