Ok naman BPI MS experiences ko so far. Been their insurance provider for 5 years. it takes usually 2 - 3 days lang bago ma release yung LOA. Not much questions, just estimate from their branch or estimator then release LOA na.
Isa lang ayaw ko sa BPI MS, mahirap tumawag sa claims. Laging voice mail na hindi ka babalikan. Its getting worse actually yung hotline nila. Might want to consider this if isa to sa deal breaker mo.

September 19th, 2019 02:25 PM #68Not sure lang about sa nagpost but I think his insurance was through bank arrangement. In my experience, sa quote and comparison namin everytime ganun, mas mataas parati talaga premium. Parang dun ka nila pinapatungan. Not sure lang if papayag sila malipat to another insurance provider mo while under car loan pa though. I honestly can't remember pero alam ko usually payag after Car Loan period lang kasi kasama sa "package" or arrangement once nag-oo ka na dun. PArt of computation lahat ika-nga.
Though hindi applicable sa lahat ng kausap, so far, yung experience namin with Sec Bank, pumapayag sila na kami na kumuha with our own provider then submit sa kanila before papayag marelease kotse. And if we ever found a lower rate sa other banks, they were willing to work with us to match it somewhat. So convenient for me yung sa ganun.
I do know hindi "lowest" rate ang Sec Bank. Sa ngayon, usually parang pinakamababa narinig ko was thru ChinaBank sa kakilala ko, but parang "preferred" clientelle na kasi yun kaya mas willing sila magbigay ng good rate para hindi na maghanap sa iba. Hehe! Though sa kanya naman, hindi na sa ibang provider kuha insurance, direct through bank naman na. Di ko na tinanong annual premium niya sa insurance, rate lang ng bank. =)

yan yung tinatawag na naka lock in or naka tie up ka sa insurance.. usually nangyayari lang yan pag ni accept mo yung "free" first year insurance na naka package sa loan mo.
pag ganyan, obligado kang kumuha nang insurance sa kanila hanggang matapos yung loan mo. Dyan ka na nila tatagain.. babawiin yung 1st year "free" kuno na insurance tapos in the end of the loan duration.. masa malaki pa nawala sayo kesa kumuha ka nang sarili mong insurance on the 1st year.
kaya never accept 1st year free insurance.. nothing is free.

thanks.
Since you got this 2nd hand, its a good idea to change the drive belt (its cheap anyway). Also...
