Mabubulok na talaga ko dito sa bahay I can't even go to the gym anymore which is just 2 kms away from my house. I wonder if college students still get to bring their cars to school.

I just came from an economic briefing. According to them, at $150 per barrel of oil, gas should be at 72 pesos per liter na.

Demand is driving the prices of oil too.....pag ganitong 70 to 80 pesos per liter na ang fuel price, madali na mag-sacrifice like what oil price advocates are telling the consumers so that prices will drop too.

Thing is, u have to be a HUGE consumer to have any effect on oil price.

Like if China and India all of a sudden stopped importing oil, then that would have an effect.

But a tiny consumer like us would have no effect...

If the Philippines stopped buying oil, other countries can easily absorb the oil we don't buy.

The US (which is the biggest oil consumer) was reported to have reduced consumption due to high gasoline prices, but oil price is still going up... US na yan ha...

One thing that would bring down oil price is a global recession.
