Ser jut703, independent naman yung Euro 4 sa RON, say Caltex Silver(91) and Gold(95) EIV pag na implement na? Ende pa ako nagpa gas ng Blaze or sa Seaoil, magkano ba price difference neto? TIA

Yup. RON is different from sulphur content (500 ppm max for Euro II and 50 ppm max for Euro IV).

Price difference between Blaze (100 RON) and Super Xtra (93 RON) is about P3.50/L.

Seaoil's Xtreme 97 is usually priced the same as the 95 RON fuels from other brands, which in turn is about P1.00-1.50/L more than 91 RON.

Ok, so yung pricing ng EIV is depende pa din sa RON? Kung Shell Fuel Save na EIV, magkano yung approximate increase nya?

Did Petron raise the price when they started delivering Euro4 compliant oils on the first week of June?

Too early to tell. It depends on whether competitors will raise prices to maintain the same unit margins despite higher product costs.

Nope. They can't raise prices because the market still cares more about price than product quality. The majority of the market will not pay an addition 2 pesos for Euro IV that they won't notice anyway.

No significant difference since your engines are optimized to run with Eu II fuel anyway.

Have not checked bro. But emissions are a minor concern since our thresholds are very high, and there aren't any pending adjustments to the LTO emissions standards as far as I know.
