yes, gas station owners are just like everyone else --- just trying to make a living.

i'm sure humina ang sales nila due to the economic crisis...

so it's understandable that they would sacrifice some profits para lang makabenta.

    ---

Philippines Customs Puts Unioil Crude Shipment On Hold

MANILA, Sept 23 Asia Pulse - The Philippines Bureau of Customs (BOC) has ordered four shipments of Unioil Philippines worth P2.3 billion (US$53.8 million) in Port Mariveles, Bataan frozen until after some matters have been verified.

Customs Commissioner Napoleon Morales said the release of 46 million liters of diesel have been put on hold, until after the link between the small oil player and another oil firm, Oilink, is established.

We are checking the documents to establish the link between Oilink and Unioil as both companies are using the same oil depot in Mariveles, Morales said, adding that the shipments will be released after verification.

Oilink International Corp. is facing an administrative case for failure to submit to the governments routine audit of importers last year. The bureau earlier imposed a P2.7 billion penalty against the oil firm.
