    masters, tanong lang po...since wala na sa market ang shell v power at yung may mga e10 eh pangit ang FC, hindi kaya makasira sa old cars / engines say rev-o 01 model ang petron 100? kasi pati ECS may e10 din. sa observation ko sa v-power lang tumaas ang FC ng rev o ko any other 93+ rating ay almost the same...thanks

    sir, topic namin ngayon sa HCP is yung cold start problem namin. after a week using this new Blaze, pansin ko nga is yung hard start or tipong palyado pagcold ang engine. now, balik ako sa XCS to check. Indeed, nawala yung "palyado" effect. Sa ngayon, observe ko pa ulit. if ever, mamimili ako.. hard start o better FC.

    W/ your Revo sir, pede mo rin i-check muna. wag muna full tank. ;)

    buhayin ko lang tong thread na to kasi ito lang na google ko eh. hehehe.

    Well, comparing XCS,GOLD and Premium.

    Premium = 93+
    XCS = 95
    GOLD = 95

    So mas malakas malamang ang hatak ng XCS and GOLD.

    ramdam ko to pag nag papakarga ako ng premium, medyo mahina hatak. Then pag karga XCS or Gold malakas hatak lalo na when going up hill. Para sakin parehas lng halos XCS at GOLD though i can vouch na ang pinaka ok for me is XCS, both sa hatak at engine stability.

    At dahil you need less gas to accelerate (dahil mas malakas hatak XCS), gaganda fuel comsumption niyo mga tsikoteers!

    Kasi subukan niyo shell unleaded, kahit anong diin mo sa GAS mo ayaw umandar, hehehe. ayun lang. ;)

    At never ko tinry yung V-Power or Blaze kasi i dont think mababawi mo ng farther distance travelled by the increase in price.

    pede yan sir. lahat naman ng gasoline natin unleaded. nagkakatalo na lang sa additives resulting to higher RON.

    gamit ko XCS.. ;)

    same sa experienced ko sir, mas ok km/L ko using XCS. i can do 8-10km/L sa Civic VTi '97 matic ko, city driving. same din, may "unleaded" na nakalagay sa gas tank cover ko. mas ok nga XCS kasi may cleaning additive..

    ito, quoting from Petron's site:
    Petron XCS Plus Valvemaster is the unleaded gasoline that unleashes true engine power and provides the following performance benefits:
    · Enhanced cleaning action that maintains the same combusting power as leaded gasoline
    · Promotes better burning and reduced emissions
    · Better driveability
    · Improved fuel economy
    · Protects against exhaust valve seat recession (VSR)

    If your car has a compression ratio of about 9-10, it better that you use ordinary unleaded fuel with RON of 93. If you have a ride that has 10.1 and up compression, it's good to have a 95 and up RON rating fuel in the gas tank.

    Octane rating - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Octane rating or octane number is a standard measure of the anti-knock properties (i.e. the performance) of a motor or aviation fuel. The higher the octane number, the more compression the fuel can withstand before detonating. In broad terms, fuels with a higher octane rating are used in high-compression engines that generally have higher performance.

    Octane rating does not relate to the energy content of the fuel (see heating value). It is only a measure of the fuel's tendency to burn in a controlled manner, rather than exploding in an uncontrolled manner. Where the octane number is raised by blending in ethanol, energy content per volume is reduced.
    Higher RON rating means earlier later detonation which is good for higher compression gas engines. However, for low compression gas engines, a lower octane means it will burn earlier and is just about right for it.
