Petron recently announced the names of three more lucky customers who have each won P1-million tax-free in the Petron Sandosenang Milyonaryo promo.
Arnold de Leon, a 35-year old tricycle driver and rice farmer from Munoz, Nueva Ecija, now sees a brighter future for his three children, as he wants to invest part of his winnings to ensure their education. De Leon works a _-hectare piece of rice land and drives a tricycle for his livelihood. As a regular Petron customer, De Leon enthusiastically texted in his entries every time he gassed up his tricycle, neatly keeping his receipts in a brown envelope with other important documents. When he received the phone call informing him of his win and asking for supporting documents, he had no trouble producing the winning receipt dated July 20.
The second winner from the same draw, Marilyn Megallon, is a 33-year old housewife from Novaliches. She is married to Marty Megallon with whom she has three young children. As the operator of her mother’s trucking and carg0-hauling business, Megallon regularly fuels up with Petron DieselMax. Her P1-million check is headed for the bank, to serve as a nest egg for her family’s future.
A young 28-year old government employee is the third winner who took home P1-million. Archivald Navarro is an information systems researcher with the Department of Budget and Management. Commuting from their home in Las Pinas to his office in Ortigas Center, Navarro drives the family-owned Honda City, which he fuels up with Petron Xtra Unleaded. Monitoring his fuel consumption, he says he is able to achieve an average of about 12-15 kilometers per liter on his daily commute.
Arnold de Leon, Marilyn Megallon, and Archivald Navarro join Petron millionaires James Magno of Antipolo City, Peter Yu of Pasay City, and Carlos Custodio of Orion, Bataan.
Running from May 7 to September 6, 2007, the Petron Sandosenang Milyonaryo is the biggest ever sales promotion offered by oil industry leader Petron Corporation. In addition to the P1-million cash prize for each of the 12 lucky grand prize winners, Petron buyers also won discounts and gift certificates such as P100/P500/P1,000 SMS gift certificates for fuel purchase, P50 SMS gift certificate for 11-kg gasul refill or lubricant purchase, and P10 SMS gift certificate for 1-liter or 500-ml Treats water.
sarap manalo.
