^ Di ko afford yang Blaze as my normal fuel. Kaya, Shell Unleaded nalang .... Masira na ang masira dahil sa ethanol. Hahaha.

Well I'd usually fill up with the old Blaze when I do out of town trips for better performance. In my case I get more speed out if it, mga +10-30 kph, believe it or not, compared to the regular Xtra Unleaded. I don't know if it's my driving, but that's something I've observed over the years.

So if you're planning to take a long drive out of town, better fill up with Blaze instead! Can't wait to try out soon. :D

well, Ramon Ang is a certified gearhead car fanatic. I wonder it that had any effect on the increase of the octane rating of the fuel. Maybe to reduce the knock on some of his classic cars?

SOHC-Single over head cam...ummm... im not totally against higher RON than we usually use everyday....but, kung gusto natin makatipid doon tayo sa mas makakatipid....

Palitan ng kuro kuro, sharing our enveloped ideas.....via airmail...

Just sharing, wag sana kayo magalit sa akin...:littleangel:

    * sir desert fox - i do agree.. i have been using shell unleaded since I got my APV, after 1 year using shell unleaded, i tried shell premium, and i felt more hp and quite better fuel consumption. so mas naka tipid ako na naka premium versus unleaded...

I was also afraid that in the manual.. naka lagay is that the minimum RON ng gasoline needed was 93 to 95 RON daw. I was afraid my engine will 'knock'

I tried BLAZE this week just to experiment if will I have better FC? additional HP? etc..etc...etc... currently I have reached my 100km travel using blaze and seems I felt that there is quite a positive change with my FC and HP. but not enough to recover the 200peso plus additional payment from changing from premium/unleaded to BLAZE.

well i also feel that its still early on my observations on my vehicle.

but in the end.. its still a positive experience and additional knowledge.

loaded 1000p of blaze 100 on my innova. halos empty na ako nung nagkarga ako. engine feels smoother during hard acceleration. Mejo nabawasan yung pagka malamya ng makina during low rev.

Pero it still does not warrant the 5p difference. sa 1000p nasa 4 liters difference yun.

2 weeks ago i gassed up at petron clark. wala pa blaze100 don, regular blaze pa lang. price ng blaze don is 41.40, compared sa manila na 45.50 at that time. Duon sulit mag blaze!
