You can play around with your engine timing, and time your combustion earlier. More power.

kasi useless lang kahit taasan pa, its just a waste of money para sa mga mamamayan...

for our cars, i go for the chepest unleaded gas that meets the RON requirement of the car. kaso Ethanol blended na. so we use Caltex Gold dito sa sta rosa at hindi pa ito E10, tapos 0.60 petot lang more expensive than silver.
majority of cars would not need 100 RON fuels in their cars. marketing hype for me. the market for 100 RON fuels is very small.Last edited by meledson; November 21st, 2010 at 11:14 PM.

There are instances where a higher-octane gas will be better for your car -- such is the case with older engines. For older engines, high-octane gasoline is usually not required but can make your car run more smoothly. For newer cars, your best bet is to follow the manufacturer’s recommendation.

Nakupo.
Back to XCS!
Pero this is worth trying sa long drives.

*Edit: Eto nanaman ang oil companies. Tingnan niyo, di magtatagal gagaya ang Shell. Tapos Caltex.
Last edited by Starex_Gold; November 21st, 2010 at 11:15 PM.

i think it's really worth a try. I don't know if it's psychological pero when i'm using Blaze, i feel a better response compared to XCS. But it's only a little bit of difference compared to the price your paying for.
Me too. i use blaze just to avoid those E10 blended fuels but if there's no other choice, welcome E10 fuel. grrr...
Tama si Sir. bakit hindi na lang diesel? where in fact diesel cars equipped with CRDI are now everywhere?
