    Maybe it is the ECU tuning of the local Forester XT. It is only rated at 240hp. The US model is tuned at 250+ hp while the JDM model is tuned at 280 hp.

    I don't see how using 100 octane fuel would be bad for the engine. All it does is make sure that the gas and air mixture explodes at the precise moment that the spark plug ignites it.

    i just use 95ron, when on hiway runs, its 97++
