I try not to wait until the low-fuel warning light comes on to tell me I have just 7.xx liters of gasoline left in the tank.

Usually when my gauge indicates below 1/4, I bring it to the station for a full fillup.

sir, bakit di ka na lang mag try ng petron xcs 95ron din yun same as shell vpower if im not mistaken.. sa shell kasi yung premium and unleaded nila 93ron lang compared sa petron xcs na 95ron same price lang naman sila.. may 2km ba ang nadagdag sa fc mo kung vpower or 95ron ang gamit mo? kung meron mas advisible nga siguro na mag shift ako sa higher ron.

may nagsasabi that once in a while we should try doon sa near "E" mark with the lighting of the indicator para ma test lang if the indicator is still working. as for me, sa mahal ng fuel ngayon, umaabot na siya sa near empty line but not beyond that. never seen my empty indicator light up yet though. i go for cheaper caltex gold since dalawa lang ang type ng gasoline nila, gold & silver resulting less handling, advertising & other company operational expenses compared sa 3 types (93, 95 & 96 rons) being carried ng petron & 4 types (E10, 93unleaded, 93super & 95 rons) for shell. i think blaze and vpower are no better than caltex gold except that they (petron & shell) have to compensate for advertisements & other expenses mentioned, the reason why these fuels are about a peso more expensive than caltex gold. minsan gumagamit din ako ng 95 ron ng small player like jetti.

Ako, I get a full tank of gas once a week, every Monday regardless of how much fuel is left in the tank. Meron iba na nag papa gas ng tig 500 or so when needed, but you would have consumed the same amount within the week anyway, kaya ako once a week na lang. saves the the trip to the gas station.

i hardly do full tank na.. una, mahal kasi gas hehe.. but actually, its more of a weight issue for me. kaya lagi half or 3/4 tank lang ako. the car runs lighter and in return, saves more fuel. tapos pa-gas ako pag 1/4 left na.

most of the time blaze, minsan xcs din..

Ako 1/4 to 1/2 depende which is convinient for me. Let's say 1/2 na lang pero I don't want to stop for gas cause maybe nagmamadali ako or wala trip ko nang umuwi or for whatever reason pero kung 1/4 na lang I really gas up na....
