hmmm i've comparing prices for quite sometime now. dati kasi halos pareho lang ang price here and there pero with global oil prices going down, nagtataka ako bakit parang hindi bumababa prices dyan.. here we now get gasoline at about $2.85/gal which is about php38.40/liter only with a $1.00:php51.00 conversion. in other states, it's even about 0.20 cents lower which is about php35.70/liter.
i wonder why??? heheheLast edited by slamtaz; September 6th, 2006 at 08:44 AM.

pero i still believe that we should have more rollbacks. ang laki ng spread ng wholesale prices vs. retail prices ngayon eh.

Oil companies announce price rollback in petroleum products
INQ7.net, GMA7
Last updated 04:26pm (Mla time) 09/08/2006
(UPDATE) SEVERAL oil companies announced a rollback in the prices of petroleum products starting at 2 p.m. this Friday, according to a report on GMA Network’s “Flash Report.”
Pilipinas Shell and Petron Corp. reduced prices of their gasoline products by one peso per liter and 0.50 centavos per liter for diesel and kerosene, the report said.
Unioil will implement a one-peso cutback in the cost of gasoline starting at 10 p.m. this Friday while Eastern Petroleum, Seaoil, and Flying V will make similar adjustments by 12 midnight, according to the report.
The report said the rollback was prompted by the lower cost of crude in the world market and that oil companies did not discount the possibility of another round of reduced prices if the trend continues.
I wonder if there will also be a rollback for the price of auto-LPG?
