I just want to share my Mitsubishi Adventure’s fuel consumption in our recent 4 day Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte Tour last November 2010. I only included main places in this summary, but we also went to Batac, Paoay, and Bangui in Ilocos Norte. This trip is very tiring because of the great distance and I am the sole driver, but at the same time worthy because of the beautiful places we visited. Had this similar trip last March using my 2009 Innova M/T 2.0 Gas (converted to auto-lpg). Left Manila 10pm.

    1. First 300 kilometers I used my auto-lpg. Consumption was 8-9km/liter. Full tank basis
    2. The rest of the trip I used Shell Premium. Consumption was 11-12 km/l. Full tank basis
    3. Average speed is 80-100kph even on SLEX and SCTEX. Tipid mode talaga ako magdrive hehehe
    4. Newly changed oil with Shell X7 5w-40 and new spark plug.
    5. 5 passengers including myself + puno yun likod ng kung ano anong abubot.
    6. Tire pressure. 36 psi on all tires.

Mga sirs, pansin ko lang po yung psi nyo. Pag long drive po ba advisable ang mataas na psi? Escape ang sasakyan namin, and we are planning for a long trip before the end of the month. Ano po psi ma-advice nyo? Thanks!

kung ano yung manufacturer's recommended tire psi...

minsan maganda yung medyo naka tindig yung gulong para less yung bending ng side wall less heat generated
