Ecoboost Explorer. And economy was better. Slightly. Not really much you can do to improve the economy of a car that heavy in traffic, but it was good on the highway.
But since it was FWD, as opposed to the V6, which only comes in AWD, it's hard to tell whether more of the fuel savings are due to the motor or the lack of extra driveline drag.

This reminded me of the turbo era in Formula 1 wherein the displacement was set to 1.5 liters turbocharged engines in response to the oil crisis back then. They say turbo is coming back to F1 next year but this time using 1.6L engines.

there is a turbo kit for picanto and chevy spark from torcon korea. and i heard that speedlab is trying to develop turbo kits for 1.0, 1.1, 1.2 liter displacements
