How do you know your FC is OK if it has not been computed vis-a-vis non-ethanol?

'Dirty' gas is usually associated with water since particulates can be handled by the fuel filter if it's working. Ethanol is even more of a water attractant than pure gasoline. The main culprit of this is long storage. Hence, you are correct in gassing up at a busy station.

But then, there are also busy stations not among the big 3 ... and some of them have pure gasoline to boot.
