October 20th, 2006 11:04 AM #871Properly made BD's (by commercial mfgs like Chemrez, etc.) matches or surpasses DIN and ASTM standards, i.e water content, cetane no.,etc. I am pretty sure that the water content of these BD's will not be higher than that of commercially produced #2 diesel fuel. Foreign particles from the BD? Again walang suspended solids sa properly made BD. Most of the time these things come from the fuel lines or fuel tanks. Hindi po ako reseller ng Chemrez but if you've seen their plant sa Libis it's a 600M peso facility using state of the art German technology. Hindi po eto backyard industry. By profession I'm an engineer and I've seen their testing equipments and it is topnotch. By golly they are exporting to Japan!
Sana these people testing BD will stop sowing fear and doubt. Be informed so that you can be assured.
P.S Larshell, bro honest comments eto ha and I'm talking to people testing the benefits and caveats of using BD
