    Hi all,

As HardCharger has adviced to some of you, we are the Factory Authorised Dealer of the FuelMeister Personal Biodiesel Processors as well as SOL.10 Professional Biodiesel Batch Processors. You may find us at www.finnasia.com/biodiesel (contacts also on www.biodieselsolutions.com).

Looks like there are myriad of questions regarding Biodiesel, its properties, use etc. interest, that have been raised on this forum alone. Few have been answered and many of the answers have been either hear say or otherways a bit vague, no matter how good the intentions have been.

We are starting the workshops to answer most of the practical questions in Philippines context and show hands-on how to make biodiesel yourself. The culmination, of course, is to make a batch of Biodiesel using FuelMeister Personal Biodiesel Processor. In the end the participants would walk out confident with a couple of liters of biodiesel they made themselves. We'll also be selling mini-batch kits for home brewing small quantities.

Watch the www.finnasia.com/forum for the exact schedule, pricing and instructions for registering. We just opened the forum, so it still is a bit of undeveloped property There hopefully will be other discussions as well, but naturally any forum need a community to be such. Feel free to pop in, say hello, give your 2 centavos worth, ask a question, give price and availability info, etc.

Hope to see you all on the forum and the workshop!

I went to amr yesterday to purchase a box of bioactiv biodiesel, actually 2nd purchase ko na to but I noticed ibang box yung binigay sakin. Went down to fill up my ride but to my surprise when I open the box nakalagay dun sa 1 liter is "not for retail sale". Yung binigay sakin is Bioactiv MC55 ndi yung BD-100. Magkaiba ba sila and should I exchange it for a BD-100? Thanks

How true is this? Long term of using BD can cause accumulation of water inside fuel tank.
BD gurus pls comment on this. Thanks

nope... not true. water is insoluble in biodiesel.

larshell: If you are using commercial BD, walang water content yun as they have to follow a certain specs for local mfg BD100 according to PNS.

Kung homebrew and properly made din naman sobrang liit ang water content(easy to check) and it gets sucked in din sa engine (which of course is bad).

rsnald: masaya ako with results ko sa aking mga initial production. Post ako ng pix and reports pag ok na completely.
